so, it's official - we moved into the new digs.  it definitely seems weird to have a brand new house all to ourselves.  not quite sure what i did to deserve it or when the bank people will show up and say it's all a big misunderstanding.

 

speaking of the new digs - our grass was sprayed on last Sat - i've never witnessed the spaying of a lawn - i'd say it was interesting, but it really wasn't.  apparently it takes about 2 wks to grow.  so, now i wait for my grass to grow.  (heh - that just seems funny to say)  seriously, we water the lawn for about 2 hours every night - each doing an hour shift.  i take alcohol along for my shifts.  it's amazing the things you ponder w/ a few drinks and an hour with a hose...

"i wonder if the neighbors are looking out their window thinking a boozer moved in next door"

"i think i've reverted back to my childhood farm days - i'm watering the crops"

"mosquito's suck"

"hopefully no neighbors come out here during my shift, i don't wanna talk"

"hmmm...i wanna buy a fire pit...hmmm...where should i put the fire pit?...maybe wherever the grass doesn't grow"

"why does the hose nozzle never really screw on completely and therefore create a constant drip on my feet?"

"i wonder if my foot prints from standing here will leave foot prints in the new grass"

"my house is really yellow and it brings much internal conflict...deep breaths...yellow is fine...yellow is fine..."

"should i hose down the car too, as it's covered in bird crap and pollen...eh, it'll rain"

"wonder what the neighbors will think when i build my seclusion fence"

 

i think i've shared enough of the insanity...happy grass around the new yellow house.
