Ok, so i'm ridiculously addicted to chapstick.  I currently have ~10 chapstick locations...nightstand, work bag, purse, desk drawer, car, each floor of my house, jacket pockets...and the list keeps going.  The deal is that i need to have a certain kind of chapstick...Blistex Herbal Answer stick..smells sooo yummy. 

 

anyway, i recently i had an 'incident' comparable to a Seinfeld episode.  I went to the grocery store to get the usuals, which included replacement chapstick - unfortunately, they had all but my kind - bummer.  Then I went next door to the Walgreens - again, out of my kind - even the slot for my kind was gone.  At this point, mild panic, but nothing extreme.  A couple days later, I stop at a Walmart to pick up some things...chapstick being one of them...and OMG, they didn't have my brand either!  complete and utter panic sets in!  did they discontinue my brand?  bc seriously, i alone buy enough to keep the brand in production!  so, i immediately drive to a different grocery store - they had it!  i bought everything they had... ~15, no joke.  i had the fear that my brand was discontinued and i therefore needed to find/buy every one in existence.  point being, i had a total Elaine sponge worthy moment from Seinfeld. 

 

anyway, you'll be happy to know, i have since checked the Blistex website and local stores - my brand of chapstick is still in production.  as for all the extras i bought that day, i've found new 'special spots' for them in case an emergency chapstick moment arises.
